Pluto's Jungle

Pluto’s Jungle was painted prior to my journey into the Amazon rainforest of Peru in 2023. It holds the essence of wild expansion. The reclining woman rests across the jaguar, embodying the process of feminine surrender.

The jaguar prowls without hesitation, guiding initiates through shadow into vision and is deeply honored in Amazonian traditions.

This energy is woven into the piece, carrying the medicine of courage, spiritual sight, and transformation. Of all my works, this one remains especially dear to me.

I want to acknowledge the Shipibo-Conibo, an Indigenous people of the Peruvian Amazon,  for sharing their medicine, their art, and their icaros, their sacred songs, with me. The course of my life, my heart and my consciousness have been touched in the most profound ways.  I will continue to carry and spread the love and wisdom of what I received from them for the rest of my life.

Pluto’s Jungle carries the imprint of that journey. It is a prayer of gratitude and a vow of remembrance. 

Archival prints are available in 11x14 or 16x20 (the original painting size is 16x20).

At this time, I am not offering my original paintings for sale. My originals are my personal assets, held for shows and exhibitions, and I know their value will appreciate further after the release of my forthcoming book. I order, prepare, and hand-paint the edges myself, so what you receive is not just a print but a work touched directly by my hands. “Bespoke” means made-to-order, created with intention, and uniquely yours. You will receive a 1.5 inch deep, gallery-wrapped & wired lyve canvas, museum-quality archival canvas that brings out the depth, vibrancy, and detail of my work  produced as a bespoke collector’s piece. The canvas will be finished with hand-painted custom edges, extending the vision beyond the print and making the piece uniquely yours.  Perfect for hanging in your home, studio, or sacred space, it arrives ready to display with no framing required.

To me, the edge is where the image refuses to stop at the border. It asks us to look beyond what is immediately visible and to consider what exists just outside our field of view.

Painting the edges is my way of reminding us that expansion happens when we move past the frame, past the limits of what we think we know. The edges reflect our own process of meeting ourselves beyond comfort zones, in the places where growth, change, and possibility live.
