About this design: 

This wolf first appeared to me in a dream in 2022. As I stood frozen with fear, it looked directly at me and said, "I am going to teach you how to not be afraid." That message stayed with me, wolf becoming a guide in moments where I found myself standing at the edge of the unknown.

The soft gaze of this wolf carries that teaching. Surrounded by swirling currents of color and hidden eyes, it invites courage, trust, and a deeper connection to your own inner wisdom.

I began this painting shortly after making the leap from a stable career into life as a full-time artist. As I faced my fears and followed my path, unexpected opportunities began to unfold including invitations to live paint this piece during the music medicine performances of Yaima and Snow Raven, artists whose work embodies remembrance, wildness, and the courage to walk into mystery.

This piece carries the energy of those experiences. It is a reminder that fear often guards the doorway to our greatest growth, and that when we move forward anyway, life has a way of meeting us with magic, support, and possibility.
