RAYS OF SHAY
Prayer for Gaza
Prayer for Gaza
This print carries the power of yellow, the color of willpower, strength, and truth.
It is a reminder that we can make a difference. In a world where it’s easy to feel disempowered by tragedy, this painting affirms that our energy and choices matter.
The Peace Print is my prayer for the world. It invites you to soften into stillness and return to your center. The colors and forms are designed to calm the nervous system and invite harmony, both within and around you.
Hang it in your home, studio, or altar space as a daily reminder that peace is not passive. Peace is a living frequency you can choose to embody.
The original 18x24 painting was donated to an auction supporting aid in Gaza, and this print carries that same prayer forward.
According to Ocha, since October 7, 2023, at least 65,419 Palestinians have been killed and 167,160 injured in Gaza. The toll continues to rise this week.
Over 90 percent of Gaza’s 2.1 million people have been displaced.
Seventy percent of all structures in Gaza are damaged or destroyed.
More than 50,000 children have been reported killed or injured in Gaza and are permanently traumatized. This is genocide and it is the most urgent humanitarian crisis of our time.
UNICEF reports famine conditions intensifying. Over 500,000 people face famine and every child under five is at risk of acute malnutrition.
We are far from peace.
This painting stands as an invocation to remember, to resist, and to hold space. It testifies to the brokenness of our global systems, and to an unyielding hope.
All revenue from the sale of this print will go toward relief aid.
Premium Gallery Wrapped Canvas
You will receive a 1.5 inch deep, gallery-wrapped & wired lyve canvas, a museum-quality archival canvas that brings out the depth, vibrancy, and detail of my work. The canvas is produced as a bespoke collector’s piece and finished with hand-painted custom edges, extending the vision beyond the print and making the piece uniquely yours. Perfect for hanging in your home, studio, or sacred space, it arrives ready to display with no framing required.
To me, the edge is where the image refuses to stop at the border. It asks us to look beyond what is immediately visible and to consider what exists just outside our field of view.
Painting the edges is my way of reminding us that expansion happens when we move past the frame, past the limits of what we think we know. The edges reflect our own process of meeting ourselves beyond comfort zones, in the places where growth, change, and possibility live.
When I was commissioned for the original piece that this Peace Prayer was born from by an Israeli man, I felt the invitation to expand my work beyond my own process and turn my gaze toward the collective. That work has become a reorientation for me, my focus now ready to move away from the purely personal and into the shared evolution we are all part of.
Every time you see my channeled soul script wrapping around the edges of your canvas, I invite you to remember that there is always more. More love, more compassion, more of humanity's potential waiting to be discovered.
Please note: each order is printed and shipped to me first so I can complete the custom edge painting before sending it on to you. Mentally allow for additional processing and shipping time to honor this process. Feel free to reach out to me if you would like an estimate on my timing, otherwise the invitation is to be patient.
I appreciate you.
